London Fashion Week is looking for new models
London Fashion Week (LFW) will be going virtual for the first time due to concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic but is offering fashionistas a chance to make their runway debut. LFW organizers, the British Fashion Council (BFC), has partnered with John Lewis to create the #LFWCatwalkChallenge.
Fashionistas are encouraged to submit videos of their own catwalk moment in their favorite outfit tagging @johnlewisandpartners and #LFWCatwalkChallenge on Instagram story or post. The official London Fashion Week social media pages will post submissions and be submitted for the chance to be featured during the London Fashion Week live-stream.
John Lewis also committed to donating £5 to the BFC’s Foundation Fashion Fund for every post to support creative individuals and businesses impacted by COVID-19. The submissions will be featured in a short video on Sunday, June 14.
The submission deadline is Friday, June 12 and John Lewis has committed to continue donating money for every post until midnight on Sunday, June 14.
