If you have trouble sleeping, you might want to consider trying this before bed syrup. Simmer 1 cup of lemon balm leaves in a small amount of water to cover them for about 30 minutes (with half of the liquid evaporated). Let cool and strain, then add 1/4 cup honey and stir until dissolved.
Take a tablespoon or more before bed to help you fall fast asleep. You can store this before bed syrup in the refrigerator for a week or two before it expires.
Natural Bug Repellent
Lemon herb is a natural bug repellent in its raw form so all you need to do is rub the crushed leaves on exposed skin before heading outside. Growing a lemon balm plant can also help to deter bugs from your outdoor entertainment area or garden.
