Bringing a school to nature
Living the zero-carbon footprint lifestyle can be hard but a school in Thailand is making this nearly impossible mission possible. The Panyaden International School in Chiang Mai is made entirely out of natural source materials including bamboo and clay.
The school is based on Buddhist values in its curriculum and focuses on respect for nature. A majority of the structures on campus are made of bamboo including a massive sports hall with over 2,500 sq ft. of open space.
The sports center has large openings for natural ventilation and sunlight. This school was created as a space to give back to the local community while teaching children to respect nature.
