Matcha Face Mask

Green tea is packed with nutrients that'll really invigorate your skin. Its natural polyphenols and catechins will shield your skin from excessive sunlight, while also mending skin damage. If regular green tea is so good for you, a mask made of matcha, the super-charged version of green tea, can only be an absolute good.
Total Time10 minutes

Materials

  • 1 tablespoon Matcha green tea
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • pinch cinnamon
  • ½ tablespoon boiled water
  • 5 drops of sandalwood essential oil

Instructions

  • Get out a small mixing bowl and place all of the ingredients in except the water. Add the water very slowly to gradually increase the mixture's consistency. Stop when it's thick enough to apply.
  • Apply the mix to your face (careful not to get it in your eyes!) and neck. Leave that stuff on there for 20 minutes. Rinse the mask off, and apply your favorite toner and moisturizer.

Notes

Just a health heads-up: if you have sensitive skin, leave the cinnamon out.
