Air Fryer Pumpkin Puffs

Using an air fryer for savory meals is great but not many people explore the sweet possibilities when using an air fryer. This easy dessert recipe for pumpkin puffs is perfectly cooked in an air fryer and is a great dessert for a festival fall sweet treat.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Non-Stick Surface (Parchment Paper or Silicone Cooking Mat)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can Cooking Non-Stick Spray
  • 1 package Crescent Rolls
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 15 oz Canned Pumpkin
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 container Cream Cheese Frosting (optional topping for drizzle)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, add pumpkin spice, egg, milk, and canned pumpkin. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Set the pumpkin mixture to the side and unroll the package of Crescent Rolls, placing each piece individually on the non-stick prep surface.
  • Use a teaspoon to add one scoop onto the center of each individual crescent roll.
  • Fold corners over the pumpkin mix and roll into a ball.
  • Place the dough balls onto the air fryer rack and lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place the rack in the air fryer for 12 minutes at 360°F, then remove from the air fryer.
  • Remove the baking rack from the air fryer to let the pumpkin puffs cool.
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl or container heat up 1/4 cup of cream cheese in the microwave to melt into a liquid drizzle.
  • Drizzle over the pumpkin puffs as desired.
  • Serve and enjoy!
