Watermelon Cucumber Mojito Pitcher Recipe

You can make a delicious mojito with more than limes and mint. A refreshing taste of watermelon can add a hydrating touch of sweetness. This recipe for sweet mojitos makes a pitcher but you can reduce the ingredients for fewer drinks if desired.

Equipment

  • Pitcher
  • Long Stirring Spoon
  • Blender or Juicer
  • Cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve/strainer

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 English Cucumber pureed
  • 2 Limes juiced
  • 1 Seedless Watermelon pureed
  • 1 large Bottle of Chilled Sparkling Water (recommended - San Pellegrino or Perrier)
  • Ice Cubes addtional
  • 8 oz. Mint muddled
  • Optional Mini Key Limes (cut in half) use as garnish

Instructions
 

  • Use the blender or a juicer, puree cucumber and watermelon together until the mixture turns liquid.
  • Use a cheesecloth or fine-mesh sieve to remove pulp into a bowl and place the juice aside in the fridge to chill.
  • Into a cocktail shaker, juice limes and muddle mint with a muddler or a wooden spoon.
  • Add ice to the shaker and securely place mixer top on the shaker, shake for 15-20 seconds.
  • Strain the shaker mixture into a large pitcher, add juice, vodka, and a bottle of sparkling water.
  • Stir the mixture together and add optional halved key limes.
  • Pour into glasses over ice and enjoy your tasty sips.

Notes

If you're in a rush, you can buy puree watermelon and cucumber but it's highly recommended to use fresh ingredients for refreshing tasty sips.
